At the period when Taiwan was a dependency of the Empire of Japan, private winery is everywhere. Until 1922, with the rule of “Taiwan Alcohol Permission” being established, the official Emperor’s wine specialist, Mr. Hasegawa was assigned to view over the private wineries in Taiwan and private wineries were strictly prohibited. One day, when Mr. Hasegawa visited Shikishima-cho Taichung Winery, he was deeply in love with its good quality, especially the aroma and brought back to present to the Emperor of Japan. The Emperor overjoyed after drinking and named as “YU HSIANG CHIAO” and with this honor, we INFLUX DISTILLERY have make this as our main product series.
Mr. Zhang Zhaohui is the founder of INFLUX DISTILLERY. Besides ancestral brewing skills, he has nearly half a century of working experience in Taiwan Tobacco & Liquid Corporation, specialized in all types of brewing and wine R & D. He was the chief brewster and qualified winemaker of TTLC. He is the treasure of Taiwan's wine industry.

We select materials from the qualified manufacturers, with professional training, special strains and guarantee long-term cycle of continuous fermentation, we get rid of bad but only keep the best during the distillation process, strictly abide by the natural distillering methods with no artificial added.
